2nd Annual Walk

Has it already been a year already? While it seems like the walk was only just a couple of months ago, so much has changed. Thanks to the generosity of you guys, we were able to complete renovations to out garage, so I no longer have to navigate the stairs up to our bedroom on the third floor. This wouldn't have been possible without your generosity, and for that I am truly grateful.

A year ago I was able to walk, albeit slowly, the two miles with everyone. This year I plan on riding in style, in my new custom electric wheelchair. Its not something that I need to use all the time, but its definitely nice to have as an option.

My speech is a little slower, and my handshake grip isn't as strong, but I'm fighting this disease harder than ever.

I am really looking forward to April 23 and seeing everyone. We are going to have great silent auction and raffle items for folks. A huge thank you to Vicki, my mom in law, not only for all her hard putting the walk together, but for letting us have it on her 29th birthday. Also another thank you to Kati and everyone else who have either donated or helped collect donations, this event wouldn't happen without you and your generosity.
