Kyle is the son of Mary and Wayne Connors, brother of Patrick and Kevin Connors. He grew up in Randolph, MA and attended Xaverian Brothers 97' and Assumption College 01'.

 

He currently resides in Madison, CT supported by his family and two daughters Emma (8) and Bryce (6). In the summer of 2013 a back injury led to months of medical opinions, which ultimately revealed a diagnosis of ALS. Ironically, the entire family and circle of friends had participated in the Ice Bucket challenge for Pete Frates. Who could have imagined that the awareness would hit this close to home!

 

Kyle continues to work as an IT Analyst  in New London. He will be working closely with Yale and Massachusetts General Hospital as a participant in the BrainStorm stem-cell study. He will incorporate a blog with updates throughout his experience.

 

In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family. He has a passion for IPA beer, smoking meat, and is the #1 Boston sports fan for the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics.

 

Our entire family is dedicated to prolonging Kyle's need for medical interventions. He is our hero, so put on your cape, it's time to save the world and fight against ALS!
