But I'll Stand My Ground and I Won't Back Down

Tom Petty was always my go to for karyoke because, well, lets face it, he's no Freddie Mercury. Not sure how he found it, but a great friend found this old video of my singing Won't Back Down and sent it to me shortly after I was diagnosed with ALS. Since he sent the video, I have sort of adopted this song as my theme song. When I am having a tough day, I try to say to myself 'Don't Back Down', keep your head up and keep fighting. Seeing and feeling the support from friends, family and strangers these past few weeks and months has helped me to realize that its no longer "I Won't Back Down", but rather its WE WON'T BACK DOWN.
