Veteran's Day

I have often been called brave for doing all I can to defeat the monster known as ALS. And while I do not want to seem ungrateful, I have a hard time accepting the comment. See I didn't choose to be in this fight. I am fighting because there is no other option. To me, then men and women who join our Armed Forces are the brave ones. They made the choice to go and defend our country all over the world. So today take a moment and think about those who have served and be grateful for their courage and bravery. If you know a vet take time today to thank them for their service. Better yet, thank a vet you do not know. Thank you to those who have served, I am truly grateful for your service.
